“La vita e dolce is the concept of a young Australian woman, Laura Libri, with a strong Italian heritage. Brought up in the kitchens of her mother, Aunts and grandmothers, she was constantly exposed to traditional recipe’s, passed down through generations of family members, unique to their home region in Italy. Family gatherings were always large with lots of Italian treats on offer,and with a sweet tooth, she grew to appreciate the tradition surrounding these delicacies.
With eight years’ experience as a pastry chef, and a passion for keeping tradition alive, Laura decided to produce these Italian delicacies, and so “La vita e dolce” was established in 2015. Using only the finest ingredients, and following traditional Italian recipes, each biscotti is lovingly hand made by Laura.
Traditional biscotti style’s such as Amoretti, Almond and Glaze Cherry have been proven favourites over many generations, however Laura has put her own youthful spin on the family favourites and produced some truly unique products. The Lemon “S” biscotti has become the signature style of her biscotti range, with an infusion of lemon added to the traditional Italian recipe.
